Our work runs on three connected commitments, because healing rarely happens in isolation
and never on demand.
Professional care
Individual counselling and group therapy delivered by licensed practitioners with
trauma-informed training. Sessions are available in person at our Nairobi centre and,
as we grow, remotely for people outside the city.
Moderated circles and safe spaces where people who have stood in the same place speak
honestly to one another. We train and certify peer supporters so that this care can
multiply beyond our own staff.
The Broken Souls podcast, public conversations and community outreach that put real
experience in the open. Stigma survives on silence, so we keep refusing to be quiet
about what trauma actually looks like.

What support actually looks like
Anyone carrying something heavy
Young people, older people, students, workers, parents, the unemployed, the quietly
exhausted. You do not need a uniform, a diagnosis or a full wallet to walk through our
doors.
Survivors of trauma and violence
Including survivors of gender-based violence, displacement, loss and events that have
no tidy name. You do not need to explain everything to be believed here.
Counselling and therapy
Individual sessions, group sessions and structured psychosocial support, with
onward referral where someone needs specialist psychiatric care.
Safe space and support lines
Anonymous calls and chats for anyone who needs to talk today, plus a dedicated line
for those who draw strength from prayer and spiritual counsel.
Resilience and wellness
Fitness, wellness and mentorship built into recovery, because bodies and minds heal
together and most people find their way back through both.
Community outreach
Mental health awareness sessions taken into neighbourhoods, schools and workplaces
across Nairobi, with expansion to further counties planned.
Dignity kits
Our sanitary pads programme reaches girls and women for whom period poverty is one
more weight in an already heavy season.
Workplace wellness
Paid wellness and resilience programmes for organisations and their teams. Revenue
from this work directly subsidises free care for people who cannot pay.
How we keep care affordable. We operate a sliding scale. Corporate and
institutional contracts cross-subsidise community services, and donor funding covers the
rest, so that ability to pay never decides who receives help.
The road ahead
Young, honest about it, and building carefully
We would rather show you real commitments than impressive numbers we cannot stand behind.
Here is what we are building and where support goes.
Now
Support lines answered by real people. Registration as a public benefit organisation
completed, with a founding board of seven in place.
This year
Opening the Nairobi healing centre with counselling rooms and group space. Launching
the podcast. Training our first cohort of certified peer supporters.
Next
Outreach into further Nairobi sub-counties, piloting remote counselling, and publishing
our first annual impact report so that anyone can check our work.
The longer horizon
Expansion beyond Nairobi to further counties, and a training institute offering
accredited mental health and psychosocial support courses.
